You know the ins and out of the Adult Director position, and I appreciate your willingness to contact these people about the SS Leadership interest meeting we will have next Sunday (3/9) following the morning worship service for about 20-30 minuts. We’ll be discussing this position, the SS outreach ministry, and possibly some teaching and other leadership positions.
Here is a list of some people I am interested in contacting regarding the Adult Director position. Feel free to add / remove people from this list as you see fit.
I will talk with you about the ins and outs of this position later this week, but I think I have a good idea of them. Feel free to pass along some of your thoughts via phone or email to these people as you communicate with them, or send them my way if you want. We will have time to discuss whatever they want next week.
Here are some of the things I can think of that this position entails. Feel free to add/remove things at your discression.
- 1. Find, recruit, and encourage adult teachers, and work with them to find leaders in their own classes.
- 2. Review and recommend adult teaching literature.
- 3. Coordinate communication to adult teachers – information, encouragement, tips, prayer, etc.
- 4. Participate in SS Leadership Team meetings and planning.
- 5. What else?
